PREDICTIONS:

Today we are going to write an email to our future selves about next year in high school.

We will use “will” to make predictions about the future.

How to make predictions

Use:

Subject + will + verb

Examples:

• I will make new friends.
• I will have good grades.
• I will love maths lessons.
• I will study harder.

Negative form

Subject + will not (won’t) + verb

Examples:

• I won’t be late for school.
• I won’t forget my homework.

Questions

Will + subject + verb?

Examples:

• Will I enjoy my new classes?
• Will I make new friends?
