England is in Europe. It is part of the United Kingdom. England is the 77th biggest country in the world. It is bigger than Ireland, but it is much smaller than the USA.

There are hills, forests, rivers and long coastlines. The highest mountain is Scafell Pike. It is much lower than mountains like Mount Everest.

England does not have deserts, but it has lots of green land because it rains quite often. There are many rivers and lakes. The longest river is the River Severn. The largest Lake is the Windermere.

ANIMALS

You can see many different animals in England. Deer live in forests and parks. Foxes often live near towns and cities. Otters swim in rivers, and seals live along the coast.
